As long as the fiberglass deck is thoroughly cleaned and prepped with isopropyl alcohol, the adhesive will form a permanent bond.
Because our foam is closed-cell, liquids cannot penetrate the surface. Most spills, dirt, and fish blood can be washed off easily with mild dish soap, warm water, and a medium-bristle deck brush. For stubborn stains, a specialized marine foam cleaner can be used.
