Pre-Installation Specifications
1. Cleaning Requirement: The substrate must be thoroughly washed, degreased and dried, with all wax residue removed. Verify dimensions and positioning by dry fitting first.
2. Installation Climate: Keep the application environment between 15°C and 35°C. Installation in extreme heat or damp weather is not advised.
3. Bonding Instructions: Remove the backing layer and apply the flooring with consistent pressure. On curved surfaces, bond gradually from one section to another to minimize wrinkles, bubbles and deformation. Leave the installed material to cure naturally.
4. Substrate Restrictions: Do not apply to wet, moldy, loose or peeling bases.
Use & Care Limitations
Avoidable Conditions: Extended complete immersion, corrosive chemical contact, sharp‑point damage and heavy friction caused by dragging.
Recommended Applications: Suitable for yacht decking, surfboard surfaces, fishing coolers and RV steps as an anti‑slip decorative material. Not intended for load‑bearing hull structures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which jet ski models are compatible with this EVA marine deck pad?
This deck pad kit is developed around the 2004–2005 Sea Doo RXP to accurately match the original cockpit and swim platform profiles. Custom fits for other models can also be produced using 1:1 CAD scanning.
What is the ideal temperature and surface condition for installation?
Installation should be performed in an ambient temperature range between 15°C and 35°C. The surface must be clean, dry, degreased, and completely free of wax, moisture, or peeling material.
Can I customize the thickness, surface pattern, and color?
Yes. While standard thickness is 6mm with a vertical brushed finish, we accept custom thickness requests, over 20 nautical colors (including two-tone and edge trims), and surface textures such as diamond, honeycomb, chevron, and wood-grain.
How durable is the closed-cell EVA material in marine environments?
High-density closed-cell EVA foam does not absorb water, provides excellent non-slip traction even when wet, has low odor, and offers strong resistance to harsh saltwater and UV exposure.
What precautions should be taken to maintain the deck pads?
Avoid continuous submerged use, exposure to harsh corrosive chemicals, dragging heavy objects across the surface, and sharp-point contact to preserve appearance and bonding strength.
How does the custom ordering and verification process work?
Customers provide boat deck photos/templates, choose desired colors and specifications, review digital CAD layouts for pre-production check, and proceed to CNC mass production once confirmed.
